Five Senses Hostel is an accommodation unit based on a century-old building, combining classic, contemporary and romantic styles.

It is a cuddly design solid and robust, romantic but versatile, bright but comfortable. It is a hostel with a hotel face! With the class and energy of a good hotel of charm.

Each floor of the Hostel is dedicated to one of the five senses with which we enjoy the life, the Palate, the Hearing, the Touch, the Sight and the Smell. All the rooms have been carefully decorated in order to honor the sense of the floor in which it finds, giving importance to the simplicity, the softness of the colors, the refinement of the decoration, the luminosity and the harmony of the five senses that are present in every detail.

The hostel offers a cozy atmosphere, combined with renovated interiors and accommodation in twin rooms, family rooms and dormitories. Each unit is decorated in predominantly white tones, wooden floors and exposed wood beams.

The patio, open to all guests, allows you to relax, soak up the sun, enjoy the intense scents of the garden or just hang out with friends!

All guests have access to an elegant dining area, kitchen and space to watch TV.
Internet access is free with Wifi in all rooms. A laundry room is also available.

The Five Senses Hostel is also the ideal place to start a walking tour of the city's downtown and its historical center, starting with a walk along Sofia's Humanist Street and ending on the banks of the Mondego River. It is located in downtown Coimbra, 20 minutes from the University and only 5 minutes from the Central Bus Station and one of the main bus stops allowing easy access throughout the city and throughout the country; The main train station is 15 minutes away.
