Sintra Full Day Tour
The tour of Sintra begins with the visit to the palace of Pena, built in 1838 by Fernando II. It became the first romantic-style palace built in Western Europe thanks to the blend of various architectural styles of the era. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take a stroll in the center of the city where you can eat the traditional Sintra cakes "Pillow" and "Queijadas".
Continuing the trip, we will discover Quinta da Regaleira, a mansion built by Carvalho Monteiro. This is a true masterpiece of the famous Italian architect Luigi Manini who wanted to resurrect Portugal's glorious past and that is why the neomanuelin style is very present.
Cabo da Roca
After a stop for lunch in one of the most traditional Portuguese restaurants, we will reach the most western point of continental Europe, Cabo da Roca. Luís Vaz de Camões described this place as "the point where the earth ends and the ocean begins".
Driving towards the sea, we will see the place that attracts surfers from all over the world - Praia do Guincho and stop by the incredible monument created by nature "Boca de Inferno", located in Cascais. Since the end of the 19th century, Cascais is one of the most popular destinations in Portugal, for local and foreign tourists. The city is located a few kilometers from the mouth of the Tagus River, between the solar bay of Cascais and the mountains of Sintra and attracts a large number of visitors.
On our way back to Lisbon, we will also see the largest casino in Europe "Casino do Estoril", where the legend of secret agent 007 was born.
